The town of Senneh (now Sanandaj) is a city in northwest Iran in Kurdistan. It has long been known for its high quality of kilims (no pile). They are very finely woven in wool using the slitweave tapestry technique where the slits form part of the design.

This one has slits in the background which can be seen in the detail photo and it is this photo which is closest to the right colours.
