Anti-slip Underlay Features

This anti-slip underlay reduces puckering so lowers the risk of an accident as well as giving extra cushioning. It can be used on hard floors or fitted carpets. Free samples are available.

  • Adhesive-free, needle punched, polyester fleece; impregnated with acrylic resin ensuring no residue is left on the hard floor or fitted carpet
  • Machine washable at 40 degrees for easy cleaning so can be used repeatedly
  • Sound absorbent
  • With a thickness of 2-3 cm and weighing 260g per square metre rather than the standard 140g per square metre and therefore has greater cushioning under foot.
  • Suitable with under-floor heating and provides extra insulation
  • It can be cut to any length in widths of 80 cm (31.5"), 120 cm (47"), 160 cm (63") and 180 cm (71"). Larger widths can be created by placing two or more pieces side by side.

How much anti-slip underlay is needed

You can either calculate what you need by going through the steps below or measure your rugs (excluding fringe) and request a quote. To calculate:

  • Measure each rug ignoring the fringe and subtract 10cm (4") from the length and width of the rug. By having the underlay a smaller size than the rug allows the rug to sit well.
  • Determine anti-slip underlay width is best suited and make a note.
  • Repeat the above for the next rug.

The price include first class postage. A minimum of £10 order is required.

If you would like to have anti-slip cut to the exact measurements for each rug please add 10% charge. This cutting service is free if you collect in person or, are paying me to have the rug cleaned or have purchased the rug from me.
